What are scored questionnaires and how can I use them?

Scored questionnaires are multiple-choice screening questions with a score per question. Candidates answer them in the application form, and you see the total score on each application card as X / Y (score obtained vs. maximum score for that job).

How do I enable scored questions?

Edit your job and go to the Application form step. Create a new question and select Multiple choice as the answer type. Then:

  • You will see 1 point by default. You can keep it or change it to 0 if you do not want that question to contribute to the score.
  • Mark the correct choice or choices.
  • Optionally allow multiple answers if needed.
  • Open-text or coding questions still do not have a score.

How scoring works

Only correct answers add points. The total score is the sum of scores across all scored questions in that job, and it is only used inside that job’s process.

How can I filter by score?

Use the filters in the process list or Kanban view to filter by the total score per application. This helps you prioritize applicants who meet your criteria.

If your company has a Superpower-enabled subscription plan or the job was unlocked individually with Superpower AI, you can also generate a scored quiz automatically and use Smart Filters such as education, certifications (including bootcamp certificates), industries, and years of experience.
