How can I improve my job's attractiveness to candidates?

If you publish jobs on Get on Board as a company, your job dashboard shows a Chances of success indicator with a brief explanation of how attractive the role looks to professionals.

Where to find the feedback

Open your job in the dashboard. Near the job status you will see the Chances of success label and a short rationale. Use it as a directional signal, not a guarantee.

Common improvements that help

  1. Salary below market: adjust the range or review the warning. What does the message “Salary is well below market” mean?
  2. Unclear or incomplete description: refine the role, responsibilities, and requirements. How to write a clear job posting.
  3. Too many screening questions: keep only the questions you truly need. Why does my job have few applicants?.
  4. Missing perks or flexibility: add benefits and clarify remote or hybrid options if you offer them. Job perks and common benefits.
  5. Overly narrow requirements: separate must-haves from nice-to-haves so qualified candidates do not self-select out.

If your job receives many views but few applications, update the posting and check the feedback again.
