FAQs

Does this unlock candidates automatically?

No. The assistant receives safe summaries and profile links. Unlocking still happens in Get on Board.

Can every team member use it?

Access follows the recruiter account and company context selected during authorization.

Do clients receive emails or phone numbers?

No. Contact details, CV files, WhatsApp, and social URLs are not returned over MCP.

Do we need developer setup?

No local server, API key, or custom script is required. Use the remote URL and complete OAuth.

Which tools does the server expose?

Two: whoami returns your Get on Board identity and active company context, and search_talent runs a semantic search across Talent Database. Call whoami first to confirm the active company before running searches.

I authorized but search returns nothing — why?

search_talent re-checks your Talent Database entitlement on every call. If your current company context's subscription plan does not include Talent Database access, the tool runs but returns no candidates. Run whoami to confirm which company is active, then check that company's plan in Get on Board.

My client says it lost authorization. What do I do?

Re-run the OAuth flow from your client; tokens are short-lived in v1 and don't auto-refresh yet. Most clients trigger this automatically on the next tool call.
