Job Details:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Mid-Level Oracle SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, and has a strong ability to analyze and improve existing queries. They should also have experience developing scripts, procedures, and packages, as well as familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks. Experience with Python, ETL, and Oracle Data Integrator is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using PL/SQL.
  • Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.
  • Develop SQL scripts for data manipulation and data cleanup.
  • Use Common Table Expressions (CTE’s) to simplify complex joins and improve readability.
  • Use Jupyter Notebooks for data analysis and visualization.
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
  • Prepare documentation and specifications.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Database Developer focusing on Oracle SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of Python and ETL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Data Integrator.
  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX).
  • Proficiency in Agile development methodologies.
