The Engineering Lead will play a pivotal role in shaping a growing information platform used across industries and geographies, driving architecture, data workflows, and product evolution.

As part of a dynamic, multicultural team, you will drive high-performance software, data, and cloud initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security while fostering a culture of engineering excellence. This role combines hands-on development with strategic leadership to deliver a modular, scalable platform and to integrate cutting-edge AI-enabled capabilities where appropriate.

What you’ll bring

Proven experience in a senior or lead engineering role, ideally within SaaS or data/information platforms. Strong hands-on development skills in JavaScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL with a track record of scalable system design. Solid understanding of DevOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and security best practices. Experience with data architecture, including data warehousing and transformation pipelines. Experience integrating third-party platforms (e.g., Appian) and working with internal data pipelines. Familiarity with web scraping technologies, automation, and management of external vendors. Exposure to or interest in AI-driven solutions (e.g., agent-based AI) is a strong plus. Fluent English is required; Spanish and/or Portuguese are a strong plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A strategic mindset with the ability to balance hands-on delivery and broader technical direction. An entrepreneurial attitude focused on quality, ownership, and impact.
