Senior Back-end Developer in Trameter

• Integrate with 3rd party APIs through SOAP and REST
• Design and implement robust, performant services supporting our mobile and web applications from scratch
• Architecting, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining various containerized scalable services
• Designing large-scale data processing and ETL pipelines, databases, and caches
• Draft clean and maintainable code with readability/documentation in mind
• Own and deliver complex projects from the planning stage through execution
• Develop new products and features, provide strategic input and help in setting technical direction
• Manage hosting environment, including database administration, as well as scaling applications to handle load changes
• Agile product-focused mentality to build products that users will love

• 3+ years of professional experience working as a backend developer
• 3+ years of experience and strong coding skills in developing scalable and performant software systems in at least one modern backend programming language like C#, Node.js, Java, Ruby, etc.
• Experience building backend solutions in at least one framework like .Net, Spring, Ruby on Rails, etc.
• Familiarity with modern cloud native technologies like Kubernetes, Docker
• In-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, OO design
• Utilization of cloud services (DBs, object storage, message queues, API gateways, functions, container orchestrators, VPCs) from at least one major provider like AWS
• Experience building scalable services with a SQL (MySQL, Oracle, etc.) or no-SQL database (MongoDB, Cassandra, Hive, etc.)
• Strong knowledge of computing concepts such as fault tolerance, circuit breaker, network protocols, self-healing, performance, availability, reliability, and scalability
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like HTLM, CSS, and JavaScript
