Job functions

  • Create the Trameter iOS app from scratch
  • Turn wireframes and mockups into fully functioning iOS apps
  • Architect, build, test, deploy, and maintain components/screens for iOS devices
  • Work with backend developers to integrate and consume REST and SOAP APIs
  • Draft clean and maintainable code with readability/documentation in mind
  • Develop new products and features, provide strategic input and help in setting technical direction
  • Agile product-focused mentality to build products that our users will love

Qualifications and requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience working with Swift
  • Deep understanding of Apple’s development platforms & frameworks (UIKit, Cocoa, Touch, CoreFoundation)
  • 3+ years of experience developing and deploying high quality applications for iOS on the App Store
  • Shipped at least 2 iOS applications to the App Store
  • Thorough understanding of scalability, reliability, power and performance on iOS
  • Extensive knowledge of object-oriented programming, multi-threading, and MVC
  • Experience working with SOAP and RESTful APIs
  • Understanding of Apple’s design principles, interface guidelines and iOS best practices
  • Able to maintain and refactor existing codebases to best practices and new technologies
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure
  • Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Knowledge of UI security issues and best practices to prevent vulnerabilities
  • Fluency with essential tools (Xcode, Instruments)
  • Basic fundamentals in data structures, algorithms, OO design
